What we ignore in small moments can become a whole situation
Oh, what a tangled web we weave when trying to deceive ourselves. We notice some THING is off, look over it like it didn’t happen, and convince ourselves we have it under control.

Then boomshakalaka, shakalaka, shakalaka. Now it’s a whole situation, Mr. Nathan.
But friend, when you noticed it the first time, that was probably when it needed to be addressed.
Something shifted in a conversation, situation, routine, or somewhere else in your life. Your thoughts got scattered. Your focus slipped, then you stopped doing something that kept you grounded.
In practical language, you got off track. In esoteric verbiage, the energy shifted before the physical evidence fully showed itself. But it didn’t seem serious, so you told yourself, “It’s not that deep.” Then one skipped day became an entire week. One questionable decision became another. And another.
And now you’re loopty-looping through a pattern you could have addressed while it was still small. Minuscule. Petite. Ant'ish. Now then... Been there, done that, and got a few T-shirts.
See, this is where people misunderstand this self-mastery work.
Naming what is happening is only the beginning of the end. “I know I’m procrastinating.”
Okay. What are the actionable steps you NEED to take? “I know this relationship drains me.”
Okay. What changes now? “I know my mind has been all over the place.” Okay. What are you going to do with that information, Mr. Nathan?
Ya know a lot, but what are you doing with the feedback you're given?
Awareness is spiritual, but response is practical. You have to become the HEAD over what keeps trying to make you tail in your own mind, body, and spirit. Some things arrive as whispers before they become alarms, church bells, or police lights.
The shift usually speaks before the manifestation gets louder and louder! Take heed when something first comes to the forefront of your consciousness. A small occurrence does not have to become a major disturbance. Hello! Goodbye.
ON Sunday Service Episode 17, One Destiny, Many Assignments, we learn to recognize what actually requires your attention. Go listen, then come back and tell me: What have you noticed lately that you know needs an actionable step?
Here at HLCU, we’re in the business of righting our wrongs and climbing Jacob's ladder of self-mastery and finding true clarity in the balancing of practicality and spirituality.
