Why I’m So Drawn to Warning People About the Dangers of the World And Helping Them Glow Through It

Okay, let me say this right off the bat. I’m not here to be the doomsday auntie of the internet. I’m not trying to scare anybody into becoming a hermit with crystals and a go-bag (although... that’s not the worst idea these days). What I am here to do is speak up. Loudly. Often. Sometimes with glitter. Because I know what it feels like to go through hell without a guide, without support, and without a single clue what chapter of the spiritual plot twist you just entered.
And that, my friends, is exactly why I do what I do.
There’s something in me. Call it a spirit's on the mainline or empath instincts on level 1-thow-wow. It just refuses to sit quiet when I see people stepping into emotional quicksand without a plan. The world can be a beautiful mess, and while we can’t dodge every lesson, we can show up prepared. Mind sharp. Spirit steady. Skin moisturized. Soul aligned.
I’ve always felt called to warn people of the stuff nobody likes to talk about. Not because I think you’re fragile, but because I know how strong you can be when you’ve got the right tools. Ain’t no shame in needing a heads-up. If someone had handed me a survival kit for spiritual growth back in my 20's, I would’ve taken it with two hands and a snack for the road.
I know what it feels like to be the lone wolf. The one who sees too much, feels too deeply, and wonders if they were dropped off on the wrong planet. I get how draining it can be when your mind won’t quiet down and your soul keeps side-eyeing your environment like, “We really live like this?”
But I also know the power that hits when someone finally sees themselves for real. When the fog clears and they realize, “Oh wait, I am the one I’ve been waiting for.” That moment right there is the spark of self realization. That’s what keeps me going.
That’s why I created the 90-Day Journey to Mindfulness Overall. This ain’t some cute little calendar challenge with vibes and vibes only. This was built from experience. From the tears, the triumphs, the what-the-hell-is-happening seasons. I built it for people who are ready to stop dipping their toe into self work and finally dive in. Don’t worry, I packed floaties.
Because here’s the thing. Knowledge is cute. But wisdom? That’s grown-folk business. Wisdom is what happens when you use what you know. Mindfulness isn’t about being chill 24/7 or pretending life is a yoga class. It’s about being here. Awake. Alert. Aligned. And a little unpredictable, in the best way.
The more present and aware we become, the more power we give the collective. We heal ourselves and, by default, start healing the space around us. Our families. Our pods. Our group chats. Our weird little corner of the internet. This is how change happens. One mindful moment at a time.
And here’s the juicy part. I’ll be sharing some wild, real, inspiring stories from people who’ve walked this road too. If you’ve been through something that changed you, woke you up, cracked you open in all the right (and wrong) ways, I want to hear it. There’s still time to submit your story to contact@thehouseofoshun.com. You can stay anonymous or go full Beyoncé. Your story might be the exact medicine someone else needs.
We’re not becoming anymore. We’re being. Period. Fully, authentically, with edges intact and intuition on ten. No more waiting. No more shrinking. No more explaining your path to people who never laced up their own shoes.
So if you’ve been feeling that cosmic elbow nudge to wake up, speak up, and glow up, take it as confirmation. You’re not here to survive. You’re here to thrive.
Self realization isn’t a destination. It’s your birthright. Claim it already. Let’s grow as we go.
If you haven't already start your 90-Day Journey to Mindfulness Overall today. Ready your mind, sharpen your gifts, and walk into your power like you own the place. Because you kind of do.
Submit your story if you’ve got one, stay tuned for the stories I’ll be sharing, and remember, the real ones don’t just dream. We do.
I'm loving this! 💜💜💜💜🙏😊
